Observaciones
Al salir por primera vez a subasta en 1993, se indicó
que la obra tenía una foto-certificado firmada por Natalio
Jorge Povarché, el 29 de julio de 1988. Años después,
al tener lugar la subasta en Sotheby’s en 1999,
en el sitio www.invaluable.com, apareció la siguiente
información: “(1887-1963) PAISAJE (CINCO PAGODAS)
signed and dated 1949 watercolor on paper laid down
on board 15 1/8 by 12 1/2 in. (38.4 by 31.7cm.) * This
painting is part of the National Heritage of Mexico and
cannot be permanently exported from that country.
Accordingly, it is offered for sale in New York from
the catalogue and will not be available in New York
for inspection or delivery. The painting will be released
to the purchaser in Mexico in compliance with all
local requirements. Prospective buyers may contact
Sotheby’s representatives in Mexico City for an appointment

Aunque no existen registros que informen acerca de
que la obra haya sido sometida a un proceso de restauración,
de la consideración de su estado actual en

que el papel se encontraba originalmente montado
