En la producción de Xul Solar el dibujo es una práctica que resulta estructural a su obra pictórica: a partir de 1913-1914 él se constituye en el punto de partida para la elaboración de sus pinturas y, de hecho, en muchos casos sus delicadas acuarelas lo dejan traslucir. Además de los dibujos entendidos como obra acabada –tinta, grafito y lápiz graso–existen otros que presentan distintos estados de ejecución: desde una primera idea para una pintura, a bocetos y estudios más elaborados. En algunos casos es posible registrar una primera idea para una obra y confrontarla directamente con la obra finalizada. En otros casos, a partir de ellos, se puede identificar casi todo el camino transitado por el artista desde aquella primera idea, pasando por distintas etapas de elaboración, hasta llegar a la obra final. Si bien el soporte para muchos de sus dibujos es el papel de dibujo tradicional, muchos otros fueron realizados en pequeños carnets de apuntes y desde mediados de los años cuarenta, en cuadernos escolares de papel cuadriculado. En estos cuadernos, la página aparece potencializada al ser dividida vertical y horizontalmente: allí, cada uno de los cuadrantes resultantes se constituye en un espacio para trabajar sobre pequeños bocetos que, en algunos casos, se constituirán en el punto de partida para nuevas pinturas. Estos cuadernos son en realidad, uno de los registros más completos del trabajo creativo de un artista. No se trata de los simples cuadernos de apuntes que cuentan con una extensa tradición en el arte occidental. Ellos son el lugar privilegiado por Xul para volcar todo su potencial creativo que no encuentra límite alguno, más que aquél que le impone el cuadrante respectivo, generando en el potencial lector la clara percepción de un horror vacui.

Se trata de un cuaderno sin tapas que contiene dibujos en lápiz negro y algunas anotaciones. Las 130 hojas del cuaderno fueron utilizadas, la mayoría de ellas está divididas en cuadrantes. Entre los dibujos de este cuaderno se encuentra gran cantidad de estudios fisiognómicos, Pan Trees.
En página 42, boceto para Retrato de Miguel Ángel de Asturias, 1952. En las páginas 80, 81, 82 y 83, Pan Trees en lápiz negro. Cada uno ocupa una página entera y dos de ellos están datados ("13 Nov 52" ). Inscripto en lápiz graso azul "Bloch / 24 Jul / 1880", estos datos corresponden a la fecha de nacimiento del músico Ernest Bloch. En la página 60, Las páginas 58, 59, 61, 63, 64, 65, 67, 69, 71, 74, 75 y 76 son las únicas que fueron coloreadas por el artista con lápiz graso. La página 90 está dividida en 16 cuadrantes, todos ellos contienen dibujos relacionados con las obras identificadas como Manplantas de los años 1952 y 1953. En las páginas 94 y 95, dibujadas en lápiz negro las figuras correspondientes a los signos de Géminis, Cáncer y Leo en el Zodíaco creado por el artista. En la página 108, en lápiz negro, una lista numerada de diez divinidades de la mitología egipcia. En la página 109, sobre el margen superior, idea para los vidrios Signos Zodiaki, 1953. En las páginas 113, 114 y 115, las figuras que corresponden a los signos de Aries y Géminis en el Zodíaco creado por el artista. Las páginas 120 y 121 presentan manchas de acuarela.

se transfirió a la página 5. En página 23, pequeños dibujos de Pan trees. En página 28, palabras en diferentes idiomas organizadas en columnas; la página 29 fue dejada
en blanco. En la página 30, dibujos de Pan trees. En la página 31, algunos de los nombres de los 72 ángeles que aparecen en la Kabbalah. En las páginas 35, 36, 62 y 64

Es un cuaderno marca Cardenalito que contiene dibujos en lápiz negro organizados en cuadrantes. En la mayoría de los casos, las páginas fueron divididas en 8
cuadrantes, aunque hay casos de páginas divididas en 16 y 18 espacios.
En el reverso de la tapa, anotaciones en lápiz negro: números de teléfono y fechas de nacimiento, consignando hora y lugar, este tipo de información aparece en otros
cuadernos y tiene que ver con la confección de cartas astrales. En página 1, "8 VII 55" y la inscripción "10 VI / nel mórbiya F. / til I VIII". Sobre el margen superior de la
página 5, anotaciones en alemán, se trata de diferentes sustantivos, adjetivos y verbos escritos en lápiz negro que no parecen tener relación directa con los dibujos a
continuación. En la página 12, sobre el margen superior "Tito pro morbiya" y a continuación algunas frases en neocriollo encabezadas por por un guión; en la misma página,
tres Pan Trees.
En página 22, el símbolo correspondiente al planeta Mercurio y la fecha "6 Jul", a continuación, un párrafo de tres líneas similar al texto de las Visiones. En las páginas 34 y

En la producción de Xul Solar el dibujo es una práctica que resulta estructural a su obra pictórica: a partir de 1913-1914 él se constituye en el punto de partida para la elaboración de sus pinturas y, de hecho, en muchos casos sus delicadas acuarelas lo dejan traslucir. Además de los dibujos entendidos como obra acabada –tinta, grafito y lápiz graso–existen otros que presentan distintos estados de ejecución: desde una primera idea para una pintura, a bocetos y estudios más elaborados. En algunos casos es posible registrar una primera idea para una obra y confrontarla directamente con la obra finalizada. En otros casos, a partir de ellos, se puede identificar casi todo el camino transitado por el artista desde aquella primera idea, pasando por distintas etapas de elaboración, hasta llegar a la obra final. Si bien el soporte para muchos de sus dibujos es el papel de dibujo tradicional, muchos otros fueron realizados en pequeños carnets de apuntes y desde mediados de los años cuarenta, en cuadernos escolares de papel cuadriculado. En estos cuadernos, la página aparece potencializada al ser dividida vertical y horizontalmente: allí, cada uno de los cuadrantes resultantes se constituye en un espacio para trabajar sobre pequeños bocetos que, en algunos casos, se constituirán en el punto de partida para nuevas pinturas. Estos cuadernos son en realidad, uno de los registros más completos del trabajo creativo de un artista. No se trata de los simples cuadernos de apuntes que cuentan con una extensa tradición en el arte occidental. Ellos son el lugar privilegiado por Xul para volcar todo su potencial creativo que no encuentra límite alguno, más que aquél que le impone el cuadrante respectivo, generando en el potencial lector la clara percepción de un horror vacui.

Se trata de un cuaderno utilizado por el artista principalmente para el estudio de grafías. Todas las páginas fueron utilizadas, algunas están divididas en cuadrantes. Al dorso de la tapa, escrito en lápiz negro, un listado de adverbios en inglés. Entre la tapa y la página de guarda, una página suelta con un listado de palabras en inglés escrito en lápiz negro, algunas palabras fueron resaltadas con lápiz graso color azul y naranja; al dorso, sobre el margen superior izquierdo, un cálculo matemático escrito
en lápiz negro. Al dorso de la página de guarda, sobre el margen superior izquierdo, cálculos matemáticos. La página 1 está cubierta de signos gráficos, estos signos son creados por Xul para la realización de grafías. La página 3 fue dividida en 9 cuadrantes pero no fue utilizada. En la página 4, grafías. En la página 6, un listado de divinidades griegas. En la página 8, dibujado en lápiz negro, el plano de un terreno y los datos de nacimiento del poeta Evaristo Carriego. En la páginas, 9-11, Pan Trees.

Es un cuaderno de hojas lisas, con páginas de guarda impresas en blanco y negro al inicio y al final del cuaderno. La página de guarda del inicio es una lámina:
"XLIV" identificada como "Cabeza de una diosa taoísta". En el reverso, esta tiene dibujos en lápiz negro de grafías. Una de ellas tiene figuras similares a la grafía Inv. 1421, que pertenece a la Fundación Pan Klub, y a Mwi done..., 1962, que pertenece a una colección privada. La página de guarda del final tiene un texto impreso con la descripción de la lámina. Solo una de las páginas del cuaderno tiene el dibujo de un Pan tree pintado con acuarela, y en el reverso de la primera página de guarda hay dibujos en lápiz negro. El tipo de Pan tree de este cuaderno puede asociarse, por su estilo y técnica, a un Pan tree (Inv. 1024) que pertenece a la Fundación Pan Klub.
El resto de las páginas están en blanco. Al principio del cuaderno faltan 5 hojas que fueron cortadas al ras del margen.

En la producción de Xul Solar el dibujo es una práctica que resulta estructural a su obra pictórica: a partir de 1913-1914 él se constituye en el punto de partida para la elaboración de sus pinturas y, de hecho, en muchos casos sus delicadas acuarelas lo dejan traslucir. Además de los dibujos entendidos como obra acabada –tinta, grafito y lápiz graso–existen otros que presentan distintos estados de ejecución: desde una primera idea para una pintura, a bocetos y estudios más elaborados. En algunos casos es posible registrar una primera idea para una obra y confrontarla directamente con la obra finalizada. En otros casos, a partir de ellos, se puede identificar casi todo el camino transitado por el artista desde aquella primera idea, pasando por distintas etapas de elaboración, hasta llegar a la obra final. Si bien el soporte para muchos de sus dibujos es el papel de dibujo tradicional, muchos otros fueron realizados en pequeños carnets de apuntes y desde mediados de los años cuarenta, en cuadernos escolares de papel cuadriculado. En estos cuadernos, la página aparece potencializada al ser dividida vertical y horizontalmente: allí, cada uno de los cuadrantes resultantes se constituye en un espacio para trabajar sobre pequeños bocetos que, en algunos casos, se constituirán en el punto de partida para nuevas pinturas. Estos cuadernos son en realidad, uno de los registros más completos del trabajo creativo de un artista. No se trata de los simples cuadernos de apuntes que cuentan con una extensa tradición en el arte occidental. Ellos son el lugar privilegiado por Xul para volcar todo su potencial creativo que no encuentra límite alguno, más que aquél que le impone el cuadrante respectivo, generando en el potencial lector la clara percepción de un horror vacui.

Se trata de un cuaderno utilizado por el artista para el estudio de grafías y, en menor medida, Pan Trees. Todas las páginas del cuaderno fueron utilizadas, tres páginas fueron recortadas. La división de las hojas en cuadrantes no es tan marcada en este cuaderno, algunas páginas tienen zonas delimitadas por cuadrantes, mientras otras que no fueron divididas presentan una multiplicidad de signos gráficos de tamaño pequeño del tipo que el artista utilizó en sus grafías.
Al dorso de la tapa, una inscripción en lápiz negro que indica la fecha: "14 XII 1960".
Las primeras páginas se caracterizan por una división en cuadrantes más organizada, con un promedio de 16 cuadrantes por página. A partir de la página 6, solo algunas zonas de la hoja se organizan en cuadrantes, mientras que en el resto de la página aparecen anotaciones o dibujos sueltos de grafías o bocetos de grafías y retrato grafías.

Se trata de un Carnet de Apuntes, de 10 páginas lisas, troqueladas, desprendidas del lomo, sin numerar. Tiene anotaciones en lápiz negro y tinta negra, y dibujos. Tiene dos fechas inscriptas.
El carnet contiene anotaciones manuscritas en tinta negra y lápiz negro, con marcas e intervenciones con lápiz graso azul, rojo y verde. Algunas de ellas son Visiones, que no están relacionadas con el I Ching (El libro de las mutaciones), y en otros casos se trata de manuscritos sobre diferentes temas. En p. 5, texto manuscrito en lápiz negro, vinculado a la serie de Vías y paisajes de 1924-1930. Se trata de un Carnet de Apuntes, datado 1927, de 18 páginas lisas, troqueladas, desprendidas del lomo, sin numerar. Tiene anotaciones en lápiz negro e intervenciones en lápiz graso color rojo, naranja, amarillo, verde, azul. Contiene textos manuscritos en lápiz negro, la mayoría están intervenidos con lápiz graso color naranja, con el cual subraya palabras u oraciones.
Los textos están separados con líneas en lápiz negro, y en algunos casos están titulados, como en la página 1: "Taqi Salmo"; p. 3: "Mistisalmo"; p. 4: "Taqipoema". En algunos casos, se trata de fragmentos de Visiones que no están relacionadas con el I Ching (El libro de las mutaciones). En la producción de Xul Solar el dibujo es una práctica que resulta estructural a su obra pictórica: a partir de 1913-1914 él se constituye en el punto de partida para la elaboración de sus pinturas y, de hecho, en muchos casos sus delicadas acuarelas lo dejan traslucir. Se trata de un cuaderno conformado por hojas sueltas de diferente tipo y tamaño, contenidas en tapas armadas a partir de dos fragmentos pegados de la revista Life. Hay hojas lisas, cuadriculadas, rayadas, y también hay invitaciones, panfletos u hojas impresas que Xul Solar utilizó para hacer anotaciones o apuntes. El contenido fue dividido en 26 folios, que comprenden una o varias hojas sueltas relacionadas.
El material da cuenta de los diversos intereses y prácticas usuales de Xul Solar, como los listados de palabras con modificaciones, vinculadas al estudio de la lengua; tablas con combinaciones de vocales y consonantes para formar palabras manuscritas y mecanografiadas, también relacionadas con el estudio de la lengua y su proyecto de Panlengua; ideogramas chinos y japoneses; ejercicios estenográficos, entre otras cosas. Se trata de una versión resumida que realizó AXS de la obra Pensadores griegos de Theodor Gomperz (1832-1912), publicada en tres volúmenes entre 1896 y 1909 en su primera edición.
Es un importante estudio sobre la historia de la filosofía griega desde los presocráticos hasta Aristóteles y sus sucesores que tuvo una acogida entusiasta por los especialistas de todo el mundo.
En 1912 ya estaba traducida al inglés, al francés y al ruso. Entre 1932 y 1934 se tradujo al italiano, al hebreo en 1931 y al español en 1952.

Se trata de una transcripción en inglés realizada por AXS posiblemente de una noticia.
El Vocoder (Voice Operated reCorDER) y el Voder (Voice Operation DEmonstratoR) desarrollados por el físico investigador Homer Dudley, fue el primer intento exitoso de analizar y resintetizar la voz de los humanos.
Mientras que el Vocoder analiza el habla, lo transforma en información transmitida electrónicamente y lo recrea, el Voder genera voz sintetizada por medio de una consola con quince teclas táctiles y un pedal.
El Voder se presentó por primera vez en 1939 en la Feria Mundial de Nueva York, donde operadores entrenados manejaban la máquina como un instrumento musical, semejante a un piano o un órgano.
Distintos especialistas reconocieron en ambas máquinas la capacidad para generar música electrónica.

A partir de su llegada a la Argentina en 1924, el horizonte de Xul se amplía: a su ocupación de pintor se añaden las de escritor, traductor e ilustrador de notas, principalmente en algunas de las publicaciones de la vanguardia rioplatense. Xul conoce al director de Martín Fierro. Periódico quincenal de arte y crítica libre, Evar Méndez, seudónimo de Evaristo González (1888-1955). Si bien Martín Fierro tiene una orientación literaria, dedica a las artes plásticas un espacio importante.
Entre los varios artistas que escriben en esta sección figuran Pettoruti, Norah Borges, Pedro Figari, entre muchos otros. Xul colabora con diversas notas y, en ese ambiente, conoce a también a Jorge Luis Borges, Eduardo González Lanuza, Oliverio Girondo, Leopoldo Marechal, Macedonio Fernández para los que realizará ilustraciones para sus obras como los libros de Borges El tamaño de mi esperanza, El idioma de los argentinos y Un modelo para la muerte, de B. Suárez Lynch, seudónimo de Borges y Bioy Casares, entre otros.
